The threaded interface of the anodized aluminum pump head needs to be treated with oxidation sealing.
The oxide film of anodized aluminum has a porous structure, high surface activity, and is easy to adsorb corrosive media and pollutants in the environment, resulting in a decrease in the corrosion resistance and other characteristics of the oxide film. Unclosed or poorly sealed anodic oxide film may result in stains and corrosion in a short period of time.
For the threaded interface of the pump head, if oxidation sealing treatment is not carried out, the threaded interface is easily corroded by corrosive media, moisture, dirt, etc. during use, which affects its sealing performance and service life. Oxidation sealing treatment can improve the corrosion resistance and anti pollution ability of the oxide film by utilizing the volume expansion of hydration reaction products to block pores, the hydrolysis of salt to adsorb and block, or the shielding and sealing of organic matter. It can fix pigments (if colored), maintain stable performance at the threaded interface, and ensure the normal operation of the pump head.
