Can anodized aluminum pump heads be cleaned with a wire brush?

Industry News-

It is not recommended to use a wire brush for cleaning the anodized aluminum pump head.
The oxide layer of anodized aluminum is sensitive to acid and alkali, as well as other process parameters such as the concentration of cleaning agents, contact time, and cleaning temperature. Using a wire brush for cleaning may cause scratches or wear on the surface of the anodized aluminum pump head due to the hardness and friction of the brush, affecting its appearance and performance. In addition, wire brushes may generate metal debris during use, which may remain on the surface of anodized aluminum and cause chemical reactions, further affecting the performance of the material.
To maintain the cleanliness and performance of the anodized aluminum pump head, it is recommended to use a soft cleaning cloth or sponge, combined with a neutral cleaning agent for wiping. This can effectively remove stains and avoid damage to the surface of anodized aluminum. At the same time, during the cleaning process, it is necessary to keep the cleaning tools dry, avoid water residue on the surface of the pump head, and prevent the occurrence of water stains or corrosion.
